The winter of '06 evokes good feelings and nice memories, as it was when Margot and I first discovered Ovelia. It's remained one of our favorite hang-outs in Astoria--and it's been the place of many dinners, birthday celebrations and casual brunches.I'm happy to tell you that Ovelia is celebrating its 2nd year in business--and they seem to be thriving! Saturday will bring a big shin-dig in honor of their big 2 year Anniversary.

I love Ovelia, but 2 years and their website is STILL under construction? lol... mmm skordalia and lamb chops.

Their site was up a while ago and now it's down again - I guess the focus is on the food, which is a good thing :)
