On my way to Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company, I noticed a new pub that's coming soon to the Broadway neighborhood. I don't know much about it yet, except that it's called Gleason's Fine Food and Spirits. From the look of it, I think that it'll be a pub but it could even be a food/wine store. I'm not sure but wanted to bring it to your attention. Actually no...I will have to go by there and take a look. I'll get back to you on that.
just read on astorians.com that gleason's will have its opening todfay, wednesday april 15...
That's exciting!
Went to Gleason's accidentally yesterday around happy hour with my boyfriend and best friend... great, cherry wood beautiful bar, very long, lots of seating.
They have a really eclectic choice of beers on tap and in the bottle. They were still working out the kinks (they only opened last week) but the service was great and the atmosphere fun and friendly.
Wednesday night is apparently their karaoke night (though we didn't stay to find out)
